Your OCA Google account will be suspended on July 1 following your graduation. Please make sure to transfer anything you wish to keep prior to that date.

If you would like to keep any of your work after you leave OCA,  you will need to copy and transfer your files to another Google account before July 1st. If you do not have a Google/Gmail account, you can create one here

Here are instructions on how to use the Takeout Transfer tool:

Step 1: Open a new tab in your browser and visit takeout.google.com/transfer. If prompted, sign into your OCA account.

Step 2: Under "Enter a destination account", type in your personal Google account (ending in @gmail.com). Then click on "Send code."

Step 3: Log into your personal account to retrieve the code from your Gmail.

If you are doing this process from an OCA Chromebook, sign out of your account to go back to the Chromebook sign-in page, and then click on "Add person". You'll be able to sign into your personal account and access Gmail to retrieve your code.

Step 4: Return to the Takeout Transfer tool in your OCA account and enter the code that you received in Step 3. Click on “Verify”.

Step 5: Choose the content you’d like to copy, and then select “Start transfer.”

The copy process usually happens within a few hours, but it can take up to a week. Copied files might appear in batches on your Google Account during the copy process. When your files are finished copying, you'll get an email at your Gmail address. For more information, please see this link
